The garbage has been not picked up or picked up on some schedule I don't understand for the last couple weeks. I basically have three weeks of trash sitting around, although it is not entirely out of control as I don't usually have a lot of it. Kat and I collect more than I do alone, however, and there are also the Christmas leftovers to get rid of. So I put the garbage out last night and it was picked up a little after 9am this morning and I know this because I am home waiting for furniture to be delivered. Of course, I check the trash and they have only taken my recyclables, which is something they do sometimes so I am mad about once again not having my trash picked up. I pull my bins back and go inside and surf the internet for a while and I hear odd noises eventually. I see another garbage truck down the street heading away and it dawns on me there are TWO garbage trucks and by putting my bins up, I have now missed my trash pickup three weeks in a row and this time, it is MY fault.
